◦ Tell us what you would like to get from the day's meeting. Also let us know what your talents are so we can resource each other.
• Grammar Theme "Teaching Present Perfect" (last meeting we didn't have time to cover this)
◦ Please bring some ideas and experience to share about teaching Present Perfect and Participles.
• Fun Share
◦ Take some time to talk about bars, restaurants and events you recommend.
• Guest Speaker
◦ At this time we have no Guest Speaker scheduled. There should be plenty of things to do even without one. If anyone would like to give a presentation at the meeting, please contact me. Also, if there is something you are interested in, let me know and I will work on getting a speaker for that topic.
• Japanese Lesson
◦ We will have a unique Japanese lesson. This lesson is unique in that anyone from beginner to advanced can participate in the same lesson. It's a lot of fun too! The lesson will be a Japanese lesson, but the same techniques can be used when teaching English or any other language.
• East meets West
◦ Discuss and maybe even vent a bit about the differences in how Japanese and foreign teachers teach English and team teaching (a popular method used in Japanese schools). Japanese Teachers of English from public and private schools are welcome and we expect a few to come.
