Feb. 24th TopTeamTeaching Meeting Report
First of all, I would like to thank the guest speaker and teachers that came to the meeting.
Below I will give a quick recap of the contents we covered.

Self Introductions
This meeting included more female teachers that I had expected.  Besides native English speaking Eikaiwa and business english Teachers, we got to meet Japanese teachers from public junior high and elementary schools and a major Eikaiwa school.
While most participants were from Osaka, one topteamteacher came in from Kyoto.
We hope more people can join us next time.

Guest Speaker
David Moskowitz  (http://www.membershipacademy.com) gave an excellent 30 minute power point presentation on how to build a membership website.
The hints and information he gave were perfect for those who want to build a membership content site, or for those who already have a site, but want to add a "paid membership content section".

Grammar Theme
Unfortunately we didn't have time to cover the "present perfect/past participle" grammar topic.
Instead we spent more time on basic teaching philosophies and possible ways to solve some particular teaching "ruts" that some of this meeting's participants were encountering.

Fun Share
For easier living in Japan, we learned where the best place to buy used computers at, and where to have really good and inexpensive Indian Curry in Osaka.  Yummy yummy, I can't wait to try it out! I just might go tonight!
Thank you Akemi Sensei, for the fliers!

I was happy to see that everyone was happy with the meeting.
It seemed that we just didn't have enough time to do everything.
Some things I will improve on for the next meeting:
Easier to understand directions (better marking on front of building).
Time management. (It was a shame we didn't have time to cover the grammar topic or do the Japanese Lesson.

Well, that is all for now.
The next meeting is scheduled for the fourth Sunday of March (March 23rd).
I will email meeting details and web site updates as they come up.

Hope to see everyone again soon!
